Thai massage is called " Yoga Massage" or "Buddha Massage" because during this session the body is gently stretched into yoga - like possitions, leading the client into deep meditative relaxation.
The therapist uses gentle and if necessary vigorous pressure, twisting, kneading pulling and stretching the body. (S)he may use knees and elbows or walk on the back with the intention to unblock any stagnation along the 72,000 energy points of meridians.
The results are an increased energy flow, improved circulation in the blood and lymphatic system, better flexibility, body realignment, digestion and less energy blocks.
